Advent Mishaps

I spent Sunday night doing some DIY crafts with wrapping paper and toilet rolls to make a homemade advent calendar full of lots of chocolate treats for F, O and L.  They were over the moon with my creation (I just hope Mummy and Daddy aren’t too mad I used all the wrapping paper!).

Unfortunately, little L was a bit excited watching CBeebies earlier and knocked it over and it smashed on the floor so Mummy and Daddy have promised the children some new advent calendars tomorrow.

Luckily Mummy and Daddy do have a lovely book advent calendar that tells the story of The Christmas Carol which kept F and O entertained.

I’m off to bed now, it’s been a busy day! Maybe a couple of hours sleep before some night time shenanigans!

Treats from the North Pole

I popped back to the North Pole on Saturday night just to give Santa an update on my first day with the kids.  He was extra busy so I saw Mrs Claus instead and she gave me some yummy treats to bring back for the children.  They thoroughly enjoyed them!

Arrival in England

I have arrived in England today. I arrived at the children’s house this morning in my comfy bed and surprised the children with a letter from Santa. I got time to settle in whilst the eldest went to football and some time to have a nosy around the house!! I got lots of cuddles when they returned and I even tried to help decorate the Christmas tree when Mummy and Daddy went to get a drink.  It didn’t go too well and I ended up getting stuck in the tree.  Thankfully the boys helped me down and little L gave me a big cuddle.  I then just sat and watched when the family decorated the rest of the tree.

Preparation to depart from The North Pole

I’ve been given permission from The Big Man himself (Santa Claus!) to once again visit Eastern England.  I am staying with the same family I stayed with 2 years ago only now there is another child in the house! I’m so excited…. that’s 3 children I have the responsibility of reporting back to Santa about, this is the biggest mission I’ve been given yet…

So now I need to pack and prepare for my journey from The North Pole to Cambridgeshire.  Where to start? I will need my special blanket to keep me warm, marshmallows (an Elf’s favourite food… also good for indoor snowball fights!), candy cane seeds, a tub of North Pole snow (only North Pole snow will make Candy Canes grow) and… oh I seem to be forgetting something…. oh yes, a little bit of Elf Magic.

I must dash now, I can here the Head Elf calling me…. ta-ta for now!

Much love, Jolly Jo-Jingles
